It’s been a few months since we posted an update on the Guidemaker change log… but rest assured – we’re hard at work with some big features coming soon!
In the meantime, we fixed various bugs to improve Guidemaker’s experience for you.
PDF Exports
PDF exports are now formatted better when exporting a guide to a PDF. We’re still working out some kinks there, so if you see any problems please reach out to us.
Click target improvements
We fixed the issue where the click target disappeared after editing an image by making it possible to re-add the click target to a step screenshot. Just press the Hide Click Target button to toggle the visibility of your click target.
We also added standard resizing handles to make it more obvious that the click target is resizable and easier to use.
View counts more accurate
View counts previously showed views for some “behind the scenes” actions our code was taking, inflating view counts slightly.
That’s fixed now and views are only counted for actual people visiting your guide.
